Hey, everyone. Trusting you've all welcomed in the new year with lots of family, friends, love, hope, and yummies! :) Just a few blurbs I wanna spill today.
First, a very happy, happy birthday to two very sweet girls today, Claudia & Camile! They grow so fast...I can't believe they were just 6 when I met them, and they're already 9!
Time sure flies, doesn't it? As you saw in my last post, Maya is now 3, going on 18...I just can't believe it. So bittersweet.
I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NEED A WASHER!!! So, if any of you fellow bloggers know someone who knows someone, I'd appreciate the hookup! We've hit on Craigslist several times, but they've all been sold by the time we call on them. So yeah, this is a sincere cry for help lol
Another sincere cry for...prayer. After many migraines, lots of medicine, a sour spirit, and hours of deliberation, I chose to quit my job 2 days before Christmas. I know our economy is horrible, and I know the finances were much better with me working 12 hour days, 7 days a week; however, work was becoming a priority over EVERYTHING else...my family, my health, and my faith. I had such a conviction about not going to church anymore, and honestly, it was literally making me physically ill. So trusting Jesus, I chose to let go of the money, and we're now praying that I find a new job that 1) doesn't interfere with church, and 2) allows me to use my degree. I've put in 4 applications, so I would truly covet your prayers during this time.
This is Sam's last week of being on 3rd shift! As most of you know, the Coliseum is shutting down so several employees are being laid off, and there will no longer be 3 shifts. Of course, with that comes a pay cut. But, I'm hoping it will help ALL of us get back on a better sleeping schedule.
Much love to you all and best wishes for 2010!
One day at a time,
Sarah

HEY!!! We have a washer and dryer waiting in our garage just for you! If you want it it's yours. But there is the issue of getting it...it looks like you will have to come visit after all! :)
Praying for you. God always provides especially when you put Him first. You will reap great rewards and treasures in Heaven. Blessings to your family Sarah! Love, Courtney
