God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And in that very instant, Sarah's water broke. And not long after, Maya Jane (aka Sassy) appeared. And God saw that it was good. :)
Hey, everybody. Welcome to our blog. We hope this will be a good way for us to keep in touch with all of you--our family and friends, near and far. We will do our best to update on a regular basis, however, Gabriel says there's no guarantee of that.
Two of my aunts and my grandma purchased a year-long zoo membership for us, so today, Sam, Maya, and I sojourned out to see the lions, chimps, and gorillas. Of course, Maya's favorite animal was the handsome, big-knee'd, cud-chewing camel. (Be careful--they spit!)
While we got our exercise for the day, Gabriel rested at Nana's with Dominic and Grady. He turned 4 weeks old today. He's growing like a weed and finally starting to make some happy noises rather than just grunting and pooting.
As Maya approaches the 30 pound mark, she is the only 18-month old who we know that wears a size 5T and isn't "fat." Currently, her favorite words are, "No," "No you won't," and "Daddoo!"
Well, that's it for our first post. And here's the deal: there won't be another post unless we get some comments! Get it? Got it? GOOD!
