Today, I'm thankful for miracles, both big and small. Here are just a FEW of the miraculous moments that God has so graciously allowed me to experience in my life:
--2 precious babies who were born perfectly healthy.
--After talking to Sam for 1 hour, I knew for a fact that he was the man I was going to marry. Six months later, we tied the knot. :)
--In 2006, after being anointed for complete healing, I was given the best news ever--that I was free from cervical cancer. Thank you, Jesus!
--A very recent miracle that I cannot go into detail about just yet...just know that God still answers prayers!!!
--In 2003, I witnessed the most incredible, obvious, make-your-hair-stand-up-on-the-back-of-your-neck, goosebump-giving miracle ever. My "little brother," Uzzie, was on his deathbed, and it is only by the power of prayer and the miraculous hands of God that this boy is alive today.
--On July 4, my cousin Lindsey choked on a marshmallow while playing Chubby Bunny. My other cousin, Andy, tried giving her the Heimlech but had no luck. My aunt, Amy quickly stepped in for Andy, and finally the marshmallow was dislodged from Lindsey's throat. I realize it's probably not something you would think was really a big deal...unless you saw Lindsey's colorless face, or unless you were at church with us the very next Sunday when our pastor told of his friend who died on July 4 after choking on a peanut butter sandwich.
--Many gorgeous Kansas sunsets.
--On Good Friday, my very good friends, The Schmitts, were in a horrible car accident as a result of a drunk driver. After spending many days and nights on a ventilator, many broken bones, and many hours of rehabilitation, Lisa & Ashley came over to my grandma's house last week to visit with us for a little while...Ashley was walking with no assistance, and Lisa only has to use a cane. What are you thankful for today?

SJ,
I think this is the best post ever!!!!!
I can't believe all of the miracles that happen and people just try to explain them away as coincidence or happen-stance.
all I have left to say is "be true to your teeth or they will be false to you".
love me
