Thankful Thursday

Today I'm thankful for a hard-working husband. I'm thankful that even when he's tired, even when he's not feeling well, even when he's been up all night with Gabriel, even when he's had less than 4 hours of sleep, even when he doesn't want to, he still works hard.

I'm thankful for other people who work hard, too.

For the trashman, who faithfully comes by my house every Thursday morning and empties out that dirty, germy, nasty, stinky barrell. I'm thankful

For the janitors at work who mop the floors, clean the toilets, and scrub the sinks.

For the receptionists who actually work hard at their jobs--and do their jobs well, keeping a smile on their face and treating me with kindness, even when I have a million questions.

I'm thankful for my mom, who is on the go from sun up 'til sun down, running after kids (often times MY kids), fixing meals, answering the phone, cleaning the house, changing poop, and singing Elmo songs.

There's just something about a hard work ethic that I really appreciate.
