I Love This.

Loyalty...
Sorrow...

Departure...

Compassion...

Pain...

Be kinder than necessary...because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
One day at a time,
Sarah

One thing I noticed as I read/viewed your blog was that all of the photos were related to the armed forces. The man in the wheelchair who was injured for the service of our freedom. The mother left to raise her baby without the comfort of her spouse. The ever too young boy who must now be the "man" of the house. The soldier holding a child that has been sheltered from the freedoms that you and I so arrogantly take for granted. And the young woman who is lying at a loved one's grave at arlington cemetary, weeping the loss of such a huge part of her existence.

All of these people have a common thread innertwined into their lives. Someone shared a purpose with our founding fathers and just as jonas clark stood out side the doors of the church he pastor, along with the men of the church, awaiting the dreaded uniforms of the British. The individuals in this post will always remember that Freedom has a price, the highest price, the price of BLOOD!

And our Spiritual Freedom is no different. For a Lamb had to give his own blood for us to truely be FREE.

Thank you sarah for this sobering reminder of the folks who died that I may be free. And also, thank you for reminding me that Jesus' blood brings true freedom.

Peace out,
Sam
